Dr. Eduardo F. Fernández presented the work titled ‘Band-gag materials investigation towards high optical photovoltaic power transmission’ through an oral presentation.
The objective of this work is to select the most suitable materials to improve the efficiency of HPOT according to their energy gap and medium attenuation properties to transfer power densities ~ 1000 W/cm2 (one order of magnitude higher than the state of the art) with an OPC efficiency > 70%.
