Last 24th and 25th October, the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia organised the “1st Congress of the Horticulture of Catalonia” (1r Congrés de l’Horta de Catalunya), with the aim of promoting the horticulture sector in Catalonia and highlighting its strategic and future role.
Dr. Pedro J. Pérez-Higueras was one of the speakers at this congress, where he presented “Agrivoltaic: Integration of photovoltaic solar energy in agriculture”. This presentation once again highlighted the innovative vision of Advances in Photovoltaic Technology (AdPVTech) within the Agrivoltaic concept.
