🚀 rePowerSiC brings the future of space energy to the Universidad de Jaén

Through several technical sessions, students and professors of the Master’s Degree in Photovoltaic Systems Engineering at the UJA were introduced to the new generation of high-efficiency technologies based on SiC. This technology is key to powering future space missions using laser energy systems.

Eduardo F. Fernández, Manuel Peralta Fuentes, and Alvaro Valera Albacete, members of Advances in Photovoltaic Technology (AdPVTech) , led sessions on topics ranging from high-power laser transmission to the design of photovoltaic systems for planets and satellites, as well as the challenges of long-distance energy transmission.

These training activities reinforce our commitment to knowledge transfer and the training of emerging talent, helping to prepare the next generation of space energy researchers. 🌌🔋
