📚 Complementing Training in Photovoltaics 🌞
In the Master’s Program in Renewable Energies at Universidad de Jaén, we not only cover the fundamentals and applications of solar photovoltaic energy but also strive to introduce our students to the latest challenges and advancements in the sector. In this direction, Dr. Leonardo Micheli (Sapienza Università di Roma) participated in the subject ‘Solar Photovoltaic Energy: Advanced Applications’, coordinated by the head of Advances in Photovoltaic Technology (AdPVTech), Dr. Eduardo F. Fernández.
His conference, “Sun, Water, and Dust: A More Sustainable Photovoltaics for a More Sustainable Society”, provided students with first-hand insights into innovative strategies for optimizing photovoltaic system performance, from minimizing losses due to soiling to developing solutions such as floating photovoltaics.
Initiatives like this strengthen our students’ training, combining theory 📖 and practice 🔬 for a more comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of photovoltaic energy.
