The municipalities of the region of El Condado (Navas de San Juan, Santisteban del Puerto, Sorihuela del Guadalimar, Vilches, Montizón, Arquillos, Castellar and Chiclana de Segura) are part of this innovative project. It proposes the integration of solar panels in the olive groves, thus allowing the dual use of the land: the tradicional agricultural practice and the generation of renewable energy ☀🌱🌱
In this way, 👩🌾👨🌾🚜 farmers not only preserve their traditional farming methods, but also find a new source of income, thus contributing to the economic and environmental sustainability of the region.
